28th January 2010 This website has moved, it can now be found at www.judeheaton.co.uk or www.judeheaton.com, but I should think you know that if you are reading this! The old website at www.heaton53.freeserve.co.uk/cosmart.htm is still there but should transfer you straight to this one. The content is much the same as the old version, with a few changes, unfortunately I had to close my eBay shop Wrap Artist last year however, I am planning to open a shop here in the near future selling more original artwork. Exhibiton news!
Four of my sculptures are currently residing in a beautiful garden in Cheshire if anyone is interested in seeing them. The exhibiton opened this very day and continues till 28th September 2008. It's not just my work, there are 26 other artist's works displayed I believe, I saw a few of them when I delivered me things, and there's a wide variety of all sorts of wonderful pieces, so go along and have a look.

I finished it at last!
I was beginning to think I never would!
Anyway it's done now and has been delivered, I don't believe it's in place quite just yet as it has to be fitted but I'm sure it will be soon. Quick update on the Dragonfly front; I've very nearly finished the left hand panel, still got a bit of welding to do (note the bits held on with tape!) and I haven't yet quite decided how I shall do the dragonfly itself but I am working on that! Anyway, there's a pic of it below, artistically leaning against a bag of compost in my workshop.
Otherwise, lots of boxes to make! Need to make a start on the Christmas stuff really, I know, it's awful thinking of Christmas in July but I need to stock up the shop so I have time to make custom boxes nearer the time.

Being the proper slacker that I am, I'm sat here updating this when I really ought to be in the workshop, working on my latest commission. Never mind, it shall be done.....eventually!
There has been a small amount of interest in what I'm up to so I shall tell. I'm working on another set of fence panelly thingies, well these are a couple of panels for a garden step banister, there are a pair, on on each side.
They're a bit of a challenge as they're parallelogram (finally learnt how to spell that!) shaped and involve awkward 75 degree angles, ah well, I enjoy a challenge.Anyway, they have a waterside theme, with grasses, bull-rushes, flowery things and a wee dragon fly, I shall add a sketch of the design. I'm just about to begin building them, I may yet be back to rant about how it's all gone horribly wrong, however, for now I must head forth into the land of workshop, set fire to a few things.....

Still updating the website, I'm afraid, I know, I'm so slow!
Well I have been working on other thins too. Loads of gift boxes, jewllery gift boxes and bags seem to be popular at the moment, I have hundreds of the fiddly little thigs hanging about!
I also have a sculpture commission on the go, another fence panel arrangement, with a dragonfly themed design, I'm just waiting for the steel to arrive so I can get welding.
