The degree allowed Jude to gain experience in a variety
of materials; wood, plastics, glass, ceramics, textiles as
well as metalwork, where Jude specialised.

on metal work designs and commissions.

Jude is a versatile artist and canny problem solver
and is happy to lend her creativity to a variety
of projects such as the Sweeney Todd razor blades, oversized
prop for theatre productions.

Jude can takes inspiration from the world around her,
line and form being her main interest
as well as a fascination with patterns.

Her work is heavily influenced by that of the Russian
Constructivist artists such as Rodchenko and Gabo.
A contemporary favourite is Antony Gormley.
She enjoys construction forms that employ areas of
negative space to give the illusion of a solid form.

Her drawings and illustrative work lean more towards her love of
Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau organic forms.
